As the father of a Notre Dame graduate and a Creighton graduate and a long-time acquaintance of Bishop D'Arcy, I am astounded that the Vagina Monolgues continue at Notre Dame with the approbation of faculty and the president. Notre Dame needs to honor the reputation it holds among the general populace as a leading Catholic institution. It is because of the university's Catholic heritage and past history that reputation exists. The VM production besmirches and denigrates that reputation.
