I do think it's very important to keep in mind the relationship between faith and reason, or rather the relationship between Sacred doctrine and other sciences (as Saint Thomas classifies them). I personally find the whole field of quantum mechanics incredibly interesting. C.S. Lewis, to whatever degree of success, even tried to make an argument for certain aspects of Christian belief from it, in his book Miracles.
